Cleaning a house that faces the Atlantic

Entries, rugs and the transitions between rooms carry most of that load and need to be handled first, before anything else gets touched.

A house that is closed for months needs an opening clean — dust that has settled undisturbed, stale air, linens, appliances that have sat idle — and a closing clean that leaves nothing organic behind to sit through winter. These are two different scopes, and neither is a standard visit.
